Delightful Owners - all you can hear is birdsong
This is a fabulous house, in a beautiful area. Although only 3 miles from the A38, all you can hear is birdsong - one feels a million miles from traffic. The house is most generously equipped and beautifully decorated. The owners are delightful, providing chilled wine and local bacon and eggs on our arrival. Highly recommended."

A 'Proverbial Belter'
Our annual pilgrimage to Devon and the South Hams was made all the better for the fantastic weather and superb base of Merrifield. With 7 adults, 3 teenagers and 4 children. the house was perfect in it's facilities, it's size and access to so many wonderful beaches. David,Nikki and kids were extremely friendly and helpful tour guides. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. It was the proverbial 'belter'

This is the best holiday house I have been in and I LOVE IT!!!! (I want to stay a month next time) PPS This holiday house should be 5 star. I had lots of fun with the lego and XBox....I wish I could build and play more with the lego and XBox. Wish I can come again!

A Perfect Setting
A beautiful house in a perfect setting. We all enjoyed the dressing up box, wonderful photos!! The weather has been very kind and we have had some very enjoyable walks on Dartmoor. Thank you - we hope to come again and will recommend Merrifield to all our friends

Beautiful House and Stunnung Grounds
"Merrifield House is the most beautiful house in stunning grounds. The owners Nicky and David Cosford have thought of every evenutality regarding the stocking of the house (furniture, kitchen, games, etc etc etc) It was wonderful for us to bring our dogs with us and they had a wail of a time! Ashburton is a lovely adequate village in which we were able to get all our supplies. I would highly recommend the property (and have already done so) and will certainly be going back. Many thanks"
